To ensure that pupils make a strong start to their education at Flanshaw, school leaders have developed a progressive EYFS curriculum that carefully maps out the foundational knowledge that pupils need to acquire so that they can thrive in Key Stage 1.

This foundational knowledge curriculum includes clear 'point in time expectations' for each area of learning so that all Early Year's practitioners have high aspirations of pupil progress and attainment
