British Values

 

 

At Flanshaw School the four key rules of our School are aligned to the British values of:

 

• Tolerance of all cultures and religions
• Rule of law
• Democracy
• Liberty
• Respect

 

 

 

This is endorsed in weekly assemblies and through PSHE and RE lessons where tolerance and respect towards all religions, and cultures are celebrated. Our School promotes the Wakefield Difference Charter, which highlights the importance of valuing all differences.

 

 

We also embed this within our Culture Competitions and TASC days.
