We are proud to serve our local community and we are grateful to receive a high level of support from community groups and religious leaders.   Pastor Sue has supported the school for many years; she provides stimulating assemblies for our children and leads religious festivals including Harvest and Easter.   We also have strong links with Wakefield Cathedral. We embrace any opportunities for our children to access the cathedral and we invite staff from the cathedral to lead assemblies.

The Headteacher and our Parent Support Advisor meet regularly with our local Police Community Support Officers.  The PCSOs have a high presence around the school and they have supported many of our families in recent years.  They also support our wider curriculum aims by leading assemblies and providing workshops for our older pupils.
