Home Learning Expectations
- Hear your child read frequently and sign their reading record. (See further support sheets below) Ensuring they return their Reading Book Bag daily.
- Allow time for your child to learn and practise their spellings (See Parent Information Page for weekly focus.) Note: Grey highlighted words are core Government words and should be learnt first.
- Support your child with their Weekly Maths HWK book. (1 page per weekend)
- In Year 4 your child completed their Multiplication Test. For those who didn't pass, keep practising your table facts. (Ask your class teacher for further support that can be completed at home.) All children need to continue to develop and learn all the Times Tables up to 12 X 12. This can be practised orally reciting from memory or via Games in TTR and PPMash.
- Additional maths support for add, multiply, take away and divide can be found in the pupil support page.
