Charlie & The Chocolate Factory
The children studied the section of the story where the lucky ticket winners get to explore Mr Wonka's marvellous Chocolate room.
Firstly, they improved the opening paragraph as they felt it lacked description.
Next, they described the wondrous sight in front of them.
Lastly, the children were given a mixed bag of sweets to create their own weird Wonka plant. They then used this to describe a plant for Charlie or another winner to consume in their story.
