When the earth gets angry

In half-term 1, we learned all about volcanoes, mountains and earthquakes. We used digi-maps to locate mountains and volcanoes around the world, we learned how volcanoes are formed and the different types of volcanoes and named their features. We produced some good arguments for and against living near a volcano. 

Wales Vs Italy

In half-term 2, we learned all about Wales and Italy and identified key geographical facts about them. We learned about the human and physical features of both countries and found them on a map. We learned about Mount Etna and Mount Vesuvius and what life was like living in a settlement close by.
