Cube Numbers
In maths we have finished a topic on multiplication by looking a square and cube numbers. We learnt a song for square numbers and made cubes with multilink to see just how big the numbers get. The children were eager to build the biggest cube hey could but soon realised we wouldn't have nearly enough multi-link so had to start off small.
Glossary
Square numbers - the product of a number with itself. e.g. 2x2 6x6
Cube numbers - multiplying a number itself 3 times. e.g. 4x4x4 9x9x9
