In the summer term of the 21/22 academic year, all pupils completed the 'Phonics Screening Check.'  Here are the results in Key Stage 1:

Year 1: 65% of pupils reached the expected standard.

Pupils that did not reach the expected standard will continue to access daily phonics sessions and targeted intervention; they will be retested at the end of Year 2.

Year 2 re-check:  88% of the pupils reached the expected standard

Pupils that did not reach the expected standard at the end of year 2 will continue to receive targeted phonics intervention in the Lower Juniors.
