2.Britain Life Vs Roman Life

Most of Roman Britain was a wild place, with forests and mountains where few people lived. People mainly lived in small villages of wooden houses with thatched roofs, much as they had before the Romans arrived. 

Rich Roman houses were made from stone, they had several rooms and even a kind of central heating. Their floors were decorated with intricate stone mosaics with pictures and patterns. 

  

 

This is one brief difference between the Britain and Rome 2000 years ago.
