Year 2 Visit to the Thackray Museum
The Year 2 pupils enjoyed an immersive experience at the Thackray Medical Museum, Leeds. They met Florence Nightingale, learnt about the conditions in the hospitals and were put to work as nurses and porters.
Year 3/4 Visit to Murton Park
The Year 3/4 pupils had a fantastic time at Murton Park. They spent the day learning about life as a new recruit to the Roman Army and the wider impact of Roman civilisation on life in Britain under the leadership and watchful gaze of the duty Centurion and their assistant. They had a chance to explore the Roman Fort and practised military skills of marching and basic drill.
