In Year 2, pupils have been studying the wider world including the world's continents and oceans.

They have also looked at hot and cold climates and more specifically what Kenya's climate is like as part of their non-European country study.

In developing their knowledge of the UK, pupils looked at its human and physical features and sorted these into their categories.

They also compared the Wakefield area to the Isle of Coll (Scotland) as part of their Island Life topic where they studied the Isle of Coll and its features.
