Wanted Posters

After writing our Monster descriptions, the children studied a range of Wanted Poster features and used these as the stimulus for their next writing task.

The children chose a random monster, name and scenario and had to create a shorter descriptive piece that fitted into the Wanted poster style.

As this was a shorter piece, time was dedicated to using a thesaurus to enhance / vary our usual vocabulary choices.
