What a nice way to start the new term with a focus on poetry.

To begin with we looked at Haikus and tried to come up with our own based on nature and the seasons.

Examples:

Eating cold ice-cream,

Throw water bombs at your fiends,

Will I get sunburnt?

Whilst it is raining,

Stay inside and play Fortnite,

Until the rain stops!

Can I fool someone,

On this special day?

It will be funny!

It is time for school,

On the month of September,

Leaves are falling down.

Shooting in the sky,

Blasting different bombs at night,

With different colours.

Moaning for ice-cream,

Children whine for more and more!

Crying everyday!

Growing in the ground,

Daffodils shooting above,

To show their beauty.

Flying in the sky,

Seagulls steal my homemade food,

Being annoying!
