Our 'Characters of Effective learning' link directly with the characteristics of effective learning in the EYFS.  As a school we feel strongly that all pupils need to possess essential learning behaviours in order to make accelerated progress.  Lesson planning in every year group embeds structured opportunities for the children to develop each learning behaviour.  Each week in Proud Assembly we celebrate the pupils that have displayed all the attributes of the learning character. This half term our Character is: Problem Solving Penguin. Our children and parents are always excited to receive their learning character postcard!
