Art Installations
This half term the children are studying "Installation art" and in particular the artist Cai Guo Qiang.
Cia Guo Qiang's art work involves large pieces of art. Often involving gunpowder explosions and fireworks.
This week the children have worked in teams to make an "explosive" art installation inside their "mock-museum."
Using positive and negative stencils, a range of media - the children flicked, sprayed and splatted their explosions inside the box.
Here are some pictures of them being artistic. Once dried they will use Lego people to act as models inside their museum (These pictures will be added later)
