I have recently retired from Flanshaw JIN after 35 years of working here as both an Admin Officer and a 121 Support Assistant. I have a good working knowledge of the school, parents, children, staff and surrounding area. I attended Flanshaw JIN as a child as my family grew up in the local area. When my children attended this school I volunteered as a Reading Friend, I then went on to be a Classroom Assistant and 121 support for a number of children. Following that I spent a number of years working in the school office. My role there included reception and general office duties and also working to improve pupil attendance.
My interests now along with being a school Governor are gardening, walking, researching my family history and spending time with my Grandchildren, two of which now attend Flanshaw JIN.
