I'm Dave and I have been a Parent Governor for about 2 years. Being a parent of an autistic child (10) who is now in the later stages of his Flanshaw journey, I feel being a governor helps bring a specific parent perspective to the board and I am passionate about SEN inclusivity.

I am originally from London and now call Wakefield my home, with my wife and son. I am currently working with university students in the private accomodation sector with a focus on pastoral and mental health support. 

In my spare time I enjoy DJing and filling up my ever growing vinyl collection... 5012 and counting. Although sadly, parenting and the ever growing years of age mean this is mainly confined to my at home music room rather than the nightclubs and gigs of old.
