Meet The Nursery Team
Mrs Shufflebottom
My name is Mrs Shufflebottom, I am one of the Nursery teachers here at Flanshaw JIN School. I share the class with Mrs Whincup.
I always wanted to be a teacher from a young age and have been one for 18 years. I qualified at Trinity and All Saints Leeds University with a BEd in Primary Education and English.
I have worked at Flanshaw for 13 years across many different classes throughout school. Over the course of my career I have worked at 3 very different schools in a variety of roles such as English Co-ordinator, Key Stage 1 Leader, Science Co-ordinator, Eco Co-ordinator and now am the Music Lead.
I have a passion for reading and getting children to read. I believe it is really important to get children interested from a young age.
