• Free School Meal Voucher Update

  Vouchers for families entitled to free school meals that cannot currently attend school to access a meal have been ordered to cover the 2 week period up to the 8/3/2021. You should receive these tomorrow - please check your spam/junk folders too! If you have not received anything by Thursday lunchtime, please contact school so we can check for you.

• School Reopening For All Pupils 08/03/2021

  School reopens to all pupils on Monday 8/3/2021 - we look forward to welcoming your children back to school safely. 

  Please see the COVID-19 page for an updated copy of our school risk assessment to see the distancing and hygiene measures we have in place to minimise the risks of spreading the virus.

  Please ensure that any completed homework and your children's reading books are returned when they come back to school.

• Back to School Plans

  School reopens for vulnerable pupils and children of key workers in our reduced provision on Monday 22/2/21. We will provide further updates about the reopening of school for all pupils once plans are made following the government announcement due tomorrow evening.

  New homework packs for those pupils not currently attending will be ready to collect on Monday 22/2/21 between 9:30-11:15am and 1:30-3:15pm. You can also return any completed homework for marking, and exchange your child's reading books. 

   

• Parents Virtual Coffee Catch-Up & Support

  Join us for a virtual coffee and a catch-up with our school mental health worker Sara on Monday 1st March at 11am to talk about how you and your children are coping during lockdown on Zoom. Sara will be here to discuss how important it is to put our wellbeing first during these times, offer advice if you are struggling and will be an ear to listen if you need a general moan. Please use the link sent via text to access the zoom meeting or contact school if you did not receive it but would like to attend.

• Free School Meal Voucher Update

  The next set of vouchers will be issued after the holidays to cover the 2 week period from 22/2/21-5/3/21. They will be delivered to all families entitled to benefits related free meals (that are not currently able to access a free meal in school) during the first week of next half term via email. If you have not received them by Friday 26/2/21, please email: reception@flanshawjin.co.uk or phone the school office.

  Vouchers issued this half term will expire on 22/2/21 so if you have not already redeemed them, please ensure you do so before their expiry date, as we will not be able to recover or reorder them after this date.
