  We join the rest of the United Kingdom in mourning the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Her successor, King Charles III, has announced that Her Majesty’s state funeral will be held on Monday 19^th September. The day has been declared a bank holiday in all countries of the United Kingdom to allow people to mourn and watch the funeral.

  School will therefore be closed to all pupils next Monday.

• School Meal Price Increase

  Please be aware that there will be an increase to the price of school meals to £2.34 per day with effect from 1st April - see letter from the school caterers under newsletters.

  Thurs 17/03/22 – Nursery – Y5 3:30-6pm

  Tues 22/3/22 – All 3:30-6pm

  Weds 23/3/22 – Nursery only 3:30-6pm

• Children In Need

  We will be raising money for Children In Need on Friday 19/11/21. Please can children come to school in something spotty, yellow or Pudsey related and bring 50p on the day.

  

• Parent's Evening Bookings

  You will receive a text and/or email tomorrow (Fri 22/10/21) with a link to book your child's Parent's Evening appointment after the holidays. It is essential for you to book and attend an appointment next 1/2 term so we can share with you your child's progress, inform you about all the strategies we are using in school to support your child in catching up on lost learning due to the pandemic and advise you how to support your child at home too. When we work together, your child has the best chance of reaching their full potential in school, succeeding in their education results, future employment prospects and improving their life opportunities.

• Harvest Festival

  Parents are invited to school to join our Harvest Festival celebrations next Weds 13/10/2021:

   

  Reception, Year 1 and 2 - 9:15am

  KS2 - 2:15pm

   

  We would also be grateful if children could bring in donations of packaged/tinned foods, which we will be donating to a local food bank.
