Free School Meal Voucher Scheme

Voucher Scheme

School moved to providing shopping voucher codes for our families from Monday 20th April 2020. For the vast majority of our parents, this has worked well and they are being emailed eCodes worth £15 per child in the family each week. This week, families should receive their emails on Wednesday 29th April with 2 week's worth of vouchers to cover you up to 8/5/20. The email will come from Edenred, the company who are running the government scheme - please check your inbox, spam and junk folders.

Some of our families have not yet received their vouchers and school are working hard to resolve the issues for them on the government run website, which is proving to be a little problematic. Please bear with us whilst we try and sort any issues you are having as quickly as we can. Please email Mrs Bradley, School Business Manager, if you have not yet received your vouchers.

Food Parcels

We have also been working closely with our Magic Breakfast partners and delivered food parcels with basic staples such as bagels, beans and breakfast cereals to our families this week.

If you are concerned about food in general during the closure there are several other options available to help families in our community: St George’s Church, Lupset; St Catherine’s, Belle Vue; The Real Junk Food project, Denby Dale Road; Elim Community Church at the Denhale Arc

Be Aware of Scam Emails

We have been informed that some parents have received an email stating the following: ‘As schools will be closing, if you’re entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we’ll make sure you’re supported’.
