Risk Assessment for reopening schools 18/5/20

We would like to stress that if anyone in your household is displaying any symptoms, that you should not send your child to school and follow the NHS guidelines on self-isolating:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/what-to-do-if-you-or-someone-you-live-with-has-coronavirus-symptoms/

You should self-isolate if you or someone you live with gets coronavirus symptoms - a high temperature; a new continuous cough; or a loss of your sense of smell or taste

If you're self-isolating, no one should leave your home for any reason.

  • Anyone with symptoms should self-isolate for 7 days from when their symptoms started.
  • Anyone who does not have symptoms should self-isolate for 14 days from when the first person in your home started having symptoms. This is because it can take up to 14 days for symptoms to appear.

Tests are now more widely available - please click the NHS link above to find out if you are eligible and how to access one.
